What the Sessions Involve

  • Initial session starts will a client analysis. The trainer will ask a number of questions in order to judge current levels of activity, sleeping patterns, nutrional habits and more.
  • The client will then be subject to a number of health & fitness tests. These include Body Fat Percentage, Approximate Aerobic Capacity and BMI. The results allow the trainer to design a safe and effective fitness plan.
  • The last 2 sessions are packed full of new, interesting and exciting activites and exercises. This is where all of our clients get a taste of how fun getting fit can really be.
  • After the introduction sessions, it is then time to decide how to continue with your fitness plan.

What Is Corrective Exercise

  • The systematic process of identifying a neuromusclar dysfunction, developing a plan of action and implementing an intergrated corrective strategy.

Why Is It Important?

  • Muscular and joint imbalances will eventually lead to asymmetry in the body. These postural imbalances result in a higher susceptibility to chronic pain and further injury.
  • Correct exercise technique is vital to ensuring optimum efficiency and productivity when training, while minimising the risk of injury. Muscular and joint imbalances can negatively effect exercise technique, resulting in poor progress and increasing the risk of injury.

Do You Have It?

  • Currently over 40% of the UK population suffer from lower back pain (LBP) and it is estimated that 4 out of every 5 adults will experience back pain at some stage in their life.

How Can We Help?

  • By identifying muscular imbalances, restrictions and postural issues that could be contributing to any LBP, we can create a safe, progessive and manageable exercise regime that will help to reduce and possibly eliminate any further pain.
  • We also feel it is imporatnt to explain to our clients why they are experiencing this pain and how the exercises we provide help to alleviate that pain. For LBP problems, knowledge is most definitely power.
